KSU’s Alumni Art Show

I’m pleased to announce that my piece Autumn Ballerina (pictured at left) has been accepted into the Kennesaw State University 7th Biennial Visual Arts Alumni Exhibition. This will be my first year participating in an Alumni show for KSU since I graduated in 2008, and I’m very excited to have this opportunity! I regret to say that I won’t be present at the opening reception as I’ll be on the other side of the country, but nevertheless I’m sure it’ll be a great show and a great reception!

Opening reception: October 7th 5 PM – 8 PM in the KSU Fine Arts Gallery (Free admission)
Show dates: October 7th thru November 11, 2010.

Congratulations on having your art work, Autumn Ballerina, accepted! It’s a beautiful piece and I luv the autumn colors. I had to do a double-take when I saw the sweet little Corgi-dog in the image too!
Do you include the Corgi in many of your art pieces?

Hey there! Thank you so much for your kind words, as well as for friending me on Twitter. Yes I like to put corgis in many of my art pieces, and I have a few planned that are coming up. So far on my website there are two in my portfolio, and a few others in sketches throughout my blog. I’m inspired by my own corgi, Rylee… she’s too cute to comprehend so I catch myself drawing her all the time!
